- In a sufuria…add your omena..and then water.
- Bring to boil for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat…drain out the water….

- In a non stick pan now…add enough cooking oil…let it heat up.
- Then add omena… gently turn then spread all over the pan…cover and let it cook on low heat.
- Then give it sometimes…open the lid..turn again…till it's golden brown and crunchy….
- Remove from the pan and leave the remaining oil(we'll use it for our onions and tomatoes).
- Now to your pan with the oil..add onions and sauteé….
- Then add the grated tomatoes..cook until it's thick and well cooked…
- Add your omena.. gently turn them…let it cook for 2 minutes… remove and serve with hot ugali
